2005-03-17 - 6:12 p.m. - Everything's planned

Well, Fantasm starts today, but I'm not going this year... instead I'm spending the weekend with mah 501st buddies. This decision was made for a number of reasons, the main one being money. But I'm working that out, Star Wars Celebration3 is going to be worth it all. So there's this weekend's fun, my birthday weekend there's a major party con the 501st is going to, and I'll be celebrating at (as well as seeing Sin City finally!!! I CAN NOT WAIT for this film. The closest thing to watching a moving comic book ever!), and then there's celebration 3 a few weeks after that. All Star Wars stuff, just like I said. Heh, then I finish off the scemester (and sign up to take that friggin math class I keep putting off), see Episode3: Revenge of the Sith, and then head off to the family beach vacation. So much! But so much fun!

2005-03-13 - 12:46 p.m. - Another spring break...

Been a life-changing yet lazy spring break. Took the good with the bad, and I got a beautiful week. Also... I've got a confession. I'm addicted... to Neopets. o.O When it started and up untill now I was soooo anti-neopets. But when you just want to waste time and enjoy yourself doing it, that's the site to go to. So I'm permanately (or atleast for now) putting a link up featuring one of my babies. Ack, I sound like I think they're real. But they're sooo cute! And hungry. You'd be suprised how much it takes to feed those buggers.

2005-03-02 - 3:08 a.m. - budgeting benefits

Well, finally got a moment to budget for now and Star Wars Celebration 3. Kinda sad actually. Put me at first in a bit of a depressed mood. I have absolutely NO money for extra costume supplies (or much else for that matter, but that's what Ebay is for). However, that lead to myself searching and scraping around for supplies and anything I could find to make what I'd like to make. The good news is with a little bit of alterations to the original designs (which is good for me cuse I can show off my alterations talents) I can make all but two of the costumes I wanted to. That's how it is when it gets down to it anyway, some of the costumes on my wish list don't make it to that actual con itself, however I'm not really as worried as I was now that I've got all my materials out in front of me. Also, concidering my group isn't staying at the closer hotel, I should probably stick to one costume a day. The less costumes to work on, the more detail I can put into the ones I do make.

So except for the financial issues, I'm very excited over this con, both for experience and costuming wise. I know I should be alot more greatful about the facts that I am with the groups that I'm with. Without them I probably wouldn't be making it to this once in a lifetime convention experience that I've been dreaming of for the past 6 years. Another two months and I'm there, money or no, and I know I'll have probably the most amazing experience of my life. I'm planing on holding it up there with Lord of the Rings: Trilogy Tuesday, cuse there's not much that can ruin this experience. Especially since I get to enjoy the final film of the Star Wars saga shortly afterwards. Heh, it's funny too look back on the most enjoyable times in my life and compare it to others. Definatly not a boring life. :)
